Paola De Paola Photography Review for Isla Terrace at The Standard, London I’d love to share my experience photographing a wedding at the wonderful Isla Terrace at The Standard, near St Pancras Station in London. I recently photographed the gorgeous celebration of Simon and Roddy, joined by their two adorable dogs. They had their official ceremony just a few minutes away at Camden Town Hall, then continued their day surrounded by friends and family at this truly unique venue. The Isla Terrace feels like a tropical haven in the heart of London, full of lush greenery, palms, and natural light. It has that beautiful greenhouse feel, warm and relaxing, yet so stylish and modern. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and it honestly felt as though we were somewhere far away and exotic. The team were exceptional, especially Hannah Hillier, the senior manager on the day, who was kind, efficient, and incredibly accommodating. Everything flowed beautifully, and the couple felt completely relaxed, which made the whole experience a joy to photograph. If you’re planning a wedding near Camden Town Hall and want a venue that’s modern, creative, and effortlessly elegant, I can’t recommend Isla Terrace enough. It’s pet-friendly, beautifully designed, and has that perfect balance of style and comfort. I can’t wait to return, it’s definitely one of London’s hidden gems. I love it!!!! Kit Cooke Lovely little counter tucked away in a slightly quieter part of Camden Market! Service was speedy and very friendly and the food was delicious. I tried the Wonton and Char Siu Lo Mein and it was really well presented with bok choy and chilli oil as well. Would recommend stopping by if youre looking for a bite in the area.

Muhammad Ahsan I recently visited Masakali and had a really great dining experience. It’s a refined Indian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very well-presented dishes. For starters we ordered the Peppery Chicken and the Lamb Bara. The lamb chops were perfectly grilled, tender and full of smoky flavour, while the peppery chicken had a great balance of spice and seasoning. For mains we had the Old Delhi Butter Chicken and the Lamb Biryani. The butter chicken was rich, creamy and full of flavour, exactly how you’d expect from a classic dish. The lamb biryani was fragrant with well-spiced rice and tender pieces of lamb. For drinks we tried the Virgin Strawberry Mojito and the Mango Affair mocktail, both refreshing and nicely balanced. To finish, we had Rasmalai Tres Leches, along with lychees and ice cream, which was a great sweet ending to the meal. Overall the food quality, presentation and atmosphere were excellent. It’s definitely a great spot in London if you’re looking for elevated Indian cuisine or a refined dining experience. I would happily visit again.

Sam Brooks Passing through shopping, walked in because it looked vibey and interesting. Just had a Diet Coke but then thought to try the wings. BEST WINGS EVER. So tasty, lovely staff very friendly. One man really helped me to understand the area because I’m not local and gave me directions to where I needed to get what I want. 10/10 Yalla ❤️

Mihaela Sirbu We celebrated Women’s Day with a relaxing and elegant dinner here. Giuseppe was incredibly professional and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere, service, and overall experience were wonderful. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

Mariana Tsvetkova I had such a great experience with Lebanon Express! We had ordered the lentil soup, but they were out and they handled the situation with so much professionalism. They kindly let us switch the item and even added free fries to our order, which was such a thoughtful gesture! The food was absolutely delicious, and it’s clear these are quality people who truly care about their customers. I’m really impressed! Amazing food and even better service. Highly recommend!
