Angela Robb Popped in after collecting my son from Chalfont station. Extended service and food wonderful. Main courses a good £4/5 cheaper than most places. Very very reasonable and great quality food. Highly recommend.

Samantha Harvey Absolutely delicious, the whole ambiance from entry, staff, environment. Beautiful. My only criticism, is that some might find it pricey for its location. Choosing it as the perfect location to celebrate my birthday.

Alysia Service from Jenny was outstanding. She was one of the best waitresses I’ve had at any London restaurant. Food was generally delicious. Portions are quite small so you can order a lot. £75 pp including a lovely bottle of wine. Would return asap! The rice pudding was the star of the show - absolutely incredible

Theeda Sasank (STheeda) Authentic Hyderabadi flavours in London! I ordered the Veg Biryani for take away and it was spot on— the spice level had a nice kick without being overwhelming, and the portion size was very decent. Honestly, this is easily in my top 3 biryanis I’ve had in the city. If you’re looking for that genuine taste, this is the spot. Eager to try the wider menu for a dine in

J N We had a brilliant Christmas meal at the Burford Bridge Restaurant with our group of 20 – honestly, the best one we’ve had in years! The food was lovely all round, the service was great (our waitress was an absolute star), and they handled the gluten-free needs for the coeliac in our group perfectly – everyone was really happy. The prawn cocktail was fresh and tasty with plenty of sauce. The turkey was cooked to perfection with gorgeous rich gravy, and the carrots had a subtle curry flavour that was surprisingly delicious. The chocolate torte was indulgent and properly rich – a fantastic way to finish. I’d seen some mixed reviews online and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it turned out to be fantastic. Definitely recommend it for a big group celebration!
franks canteen

Franks Canteen - Islington

Bram Alexander Great food at Franks Canteen. Fresh ingredients, prepared & presented with flair. Profiteroles with chicken parfait, pickled herring with golden beets plus venison loin, balsamic parsnips & port just the standouts. Takes ‘canteen’ food to the stratosphere. Get on board.
