5 /5 Rick Cannon: Went for a drink early on a Friday evening. Nice spot to sit outside and people watch. We werent able to stay for the live music, but Ive been before and its worth checking out!
5 /5 E B: Great no-nonsense fry up for under £9 which is rare these days. Everything was fresh and really tasty — proper comfort food done well. Cappuccino and juice were good too.
It’s old-school style (pay at the counter and collect your coffee yourself) but I actually liked that — quick, efficient and no fuss. Perfect if you want something filling without spending a fortune. Would definitely come back.
5 /5 Allen Smith: Nestled in a corner spot, Retro Cafe 2.0 offers a delightful experience with its cozy, vintage ambiance. Their traditional English breakfast, featuring perfectly cooked beans on toast, is a standout. The coffee is superb, elevating your morning routine to a new level. Barista Rebecca is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to your visit. This charming cafe is highly recommended for a comforting and nostalgic start to your day.
1 /5 Richard Garman: Seriously bad. Fry up atrocious - including a rock hard poached egg. And a soggy, inedible toastie. Swerve.
Elena T. Absolutely thrilled to have this new addition to the neighborhood! The roast duck and barbecue pork are outstanding—rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and truly authentic.
Vegetarians are well-catered for, with a great selection of classic dishes available in meat-free options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Since this is a “Little Four Seasons,” the menu is slightly more condensed than its larger counterparts. While the variety is impressive, I’d love to see more fish and seafood options in the future. Looking forward to coming back soon!
rj strings Great food and cozy vibe! Really lovely experience for a great brunch that we had so late in the day. Highly recommended, great staff and service with prompt and tasty food and fresh homemade muffins! Well done, we will be back soon!
Sylwia Baniak-Wrzos We had such a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary here. The staff made the evening truly special - so warm, friendly, and thoughtful from the moment we walked in. They went out of their way to make us feel celebrated, and every little gesture meant so much to us. It wasn’t just great service; it felt like genuine care and kindness. Thank you for making our anniversary a night we’ll always remember.
World Traveller A Michelin star restaurant in the making?
Service, the outrageous food, the wines, the dessert.
We chose this little gem for Valentine’s day. Truly surprised. Compliments to the chef and the excellent service from all the waiters.
Sakine Donmez We went to Al Gusto restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing.
We started with prawns and warm sourdough bread, then had the goat’s cheese roasted vegetable salad and the portobello mushroom and olives pizza. We also had red wine.
It was my friend’s first time there, and we both found the food incredibly delicious and loved it. My personal favourite is the baked cod, but we considered yesterday’s meal a real feast for ourselves.
The service was excellent. We enjoyed the food so much that the customers sitting at the next table asked us, “Is this your first time here? The food is really delicious, isn’t it?”
