I ordered 1 kg of mince, but upon arrival, the package weighed only 0.848 kg. While I understand that minor weight variations can occur in butchery, a shortfall of over 150g is significant and unacceptable for the price paid.
What is more concerning, however, is the apparent decline in their customer service values. When I emailed to complain, I was offered a ÂŁ2.00 gift card as compensation. Frankly, I found this insulting given the scale of the error. It felt like a dismissive gesture rather than a genuine attempt to make things right.
I politely declined the offer, but I am saddened to say that after years of patronage, my trust in their reliability and service has been shaken. I hope they reconsider how they treat long-term customers when genuine mistakes are made.

Offering a ÂŁ2.00 gift card is not compensation for a poor experience; it is simply a refund for the missing product that I am then forced to spend with you again.
