5 /5 mary jones: I was already a big fan of this restaurant - the tapas is excellent - and was interested to try their Sunday roast. I went on the first day of this new menu and, quite simply, LOVED it!
There were a few nibble type starters available - olives, padron peppers, almonds, bread. We had the sourdough bread - this came toasted with an alioli sauce - very tasty!
The main course choices were beef, chicken, lamb cutlets or a vegan wellington. We had the chicken and lamb - both were served with roast potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli, yorkshire pudding and gravy. All superbly seasoned and delicious! Good portion size too.
We didn’t have desserts, but saw others tucking into cheesecake and churros. Next time!
The staff were fantastically welcoming as always! Laura, kept saying words to the effect of “It’s our first day doing this…” - no need to justify anything Laura, you’ve already aced this!
Pricing is well pitched - £19 - £21 per person for main course, depending on your choice of meat.
Well done Laura, Danny and, of course, the brilliant Spanish chef, Freddy!
Already booked to go back next week!
