3 /5 Yuqi Wang: Had low hope for food and high hope for the ambience even before I went. Turned out to be matching expectations. The dish I liked was the risotto, pigeon was a bit of a disappointment. I wish nicer plating could be done to match with the price point. Good for a date or special occasion. Very unique building and special interior design.

Set within the grand rooms of the Old Sessions House, the space itself feels steeped in memory — high ceilings, history in the walls, and a sense that time moves differently once you’re inside. The duck pâté and cheese platter were standouts, rich and deeply satisfying, and beautifully matched with an exceptional wine selection. It’s clear that wine here is not an afterthought but a philosophy. Their Lost Wines series captures that perfectly: bottles rescued from forgotten cellars, restored with care, and given a second life. Knowing that the glass in front of you carries a story, only deepens the experience. A truly special evening — and one I’m already planning to repeat.

5 /5 K: Surprised about the bad reviews, we had an excellent time! Service was really attentive, food was great and the atmosphere is lovely. Yes, it’s pricy and portions are small, but this is normal in upscale restaurants. I’d recommend and will be coming back for more!

4 /5 Grzegorz: Absolutely love the ambience of this restaurant. Its stunningly beautiful. Very moody, artistic, romantic and cosy. The service was average, I would say. The food was interesting. Very short menu. Good mix of unusual flavours in most of the items. Unfortunately portions were small and the total price quite high including 15% service charge. Maybe thats why they still have spare tables during busiest night of the week.

1 /5 Divyaa Patel: This place is a scam… the staff and food were terrible except Joey he seemed to enjoy talking to the patrons here. The price for what you get just simply doesn’t match the value. It was actually laughable when our waiter said the plates are shareable, to who?! Each dish that came was another disappointment. The service charge is 15% so what exactly am I paying for? We asked about the wine to one lady who forgot about us, so we had to ask someone else. This waiter helped us but then gave us an already opened bottle… When the food was being served the waiters simply dropped the plate in front of us and left it at that. I’ve had better service from smaller restaurants. The attitude seemed to just be uncaring and negligent. The only nice things were the environment and Joey. Would never go here again. The management really needs changing.
