5 /5 Luing Andrews: Definitely the best for miles, I travel 20 mins as this is the best Indian cuisine locally. Had many fantastic meals inside restaurant and this is the second takeaway meal and all has been 1st class lovely food! Second to none. Absolutely delicious food.

5 /5 Stuart Thomson: We went there for a meal with friends and I had the Tengha Gohst; it was one of the nicest curries Ive eaten. Not too hot, it had a bit of attitudethough, but the rest of the spices were absolutely gorgeous. Spot on.

Everything was perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with great care and high-quality ingredients. You can immediately tell when a kitchen takes real pride in what it serves. What made the experience even more memorable was the hospitality. Two days ago, on Christmas, I urgently needed to use the restroom while we were nearby, and the team kindly let me in without hesitation. Today, just two days later, we returned as a group of four for dinner, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Warm, welcoming service, outstanding food, and a place that treats people with genuine respect. This is exactly how hospitality should feel. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Shafiques without any hesitation.

5 /5 Becky Lawrence: Shafiques is THE best Indian restaurant/takeaway out there. Me and my partner frequent Shafiques for every occasion, every chance we get! My family loves the food and they always say there is never a single fault! This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars, it’s our absolute favourite! The staff are all so friendly as well which makes the dining experience even better! Not a single bad thing about this place! Would recommend time and time again!

5 /5 Jon Beck: We were meeting at a half way point 50 miles from each of us so wanted it to be good. We were very early and the first in for evening service. The staff were very welcoming and polite and kind. The service was attentive but not smothering. The food was good and it was not overly expensive. Even by5.30pm to 6pm the place was filling up and seemed very popular. It had a great atmosphere and had a very cosy vibe. Toilets were very clean and well presented too. Would definitely go again and would highly recommend.
