4 /5 Alison roden: The pub is very family friendly even if not all customers are. The ball pit play area is great but you must supervise your children as the staff are often very busy serving food and attending to parties. It would benefit from an extra pair of hands.

4 /5 Emily C: A lively place popular with families, weekend drinkers, party people, even a wedding party when we were there! Food is tasty and plentiful. Service was very quick and efficient. Bar staff were a bit overstretched as it was busy. Sadly they had run out of their horseshoe donut ice-cream dessert which was disappointing. A convenient place to stop off for food or a break before an overnight ferry.

5 /5 Lewis Hully: We visited Sovereigns for Lunch as a Couple and my Partner and I were thoroughly impressed. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, plus the food arrived in good time and was PIPING hot. We both ordered from the Monday £9 Grill option but had the 8oz Smothered Steak Sizzler (which was an extra £2) and the Full Monty Mixed Grill which was the same, so altogether it was £22 for both Grill meals which is a bargain!!! We also had 2 for £10 on the Cocktails. The Steak on the Smothered Steak Sizzler was cooked to perfection and was the best cooked Steak my Partner had ever had (she likes her Steak Rare) and my Mixed Grill was super tasty, the Chicken was juicy, and the Steak was cooked perfect for me (I like it Well Done) We will be visiting here again, and you certainly should too! It did not disappoint and hats off to the staff!
