5 /5 Nita Clancy: Celebrated my daughters 18th birthday with 56 family members. Had the whole restaurent to ourselves. Food was amazing with lots of choices. The staff so friendly and welcoming. Also had my dads 70th there and my sisters 50th. Would really recommend it if you wanted a family function.

I know it can’t be helped at times, a large table of male customers were extremely loud which spoilt it for our table as we couldn’t hear our own conversations. Overall a very pleasant evening and we shall 100% be booking again :)

3 /5 Daniel: The first impressions from outside is the building looks old and tired. When you look at the windows above the restaurant there is dirty towels and sheets covering the windows upstairs which isn’t a good look. The decking outside is old and tired. It has collapsed in certain areas which is a major trip hazard and an accident waiting to happen. When you walk through the front door it is completely different . It has a very modern and contemporary look. There is a separate bar area which looks fantastic, very clean and modern. We had two babies with us and we to go and find two high chairs ourselves which isn’t a great issue but a bit annoying. We all found the menu to be a bit confusing and the no oil curry is advertised as the same flavour but healthier. I can’t understand how it can be the same flavour when oil is used to bring the flavour of the spices together in curries. The tikka masala was great but the Dhansak was very mild, this is traditionally quite a spicy dish but still tasted good. The onion bhajis were very dry and the samosas were ok. The rice was cooked perfectly though. The dining room is very modern and clean looking really nice furniture. However it did seem a bit cramped and very noisy. Maybe a divider above the booths to help reduce the noise down between the tables. The drink prices are pretty standard for a restaurant with a good selection. The deserts and ice cream is presented in a heart which gives it a nice touch. I wouldn’t say it’s a traditional Indian restaurant as it has been very westernised compared to other Indian restaurants. Staff are nice, friendly and polite.
