Paid £16.80 for a Chicken Shawarma meal with extra meat and sauce. After just a couple bites, I realized there was almost no meat at all—just chips, salad, dry bread, and barely any sauce.
I stood up and spoke to a staff member. He shrugged and said, “That’s how our portions are. Nothing I can do.” No apology, no solution. I went back to my table and ate what was there because I had no choice, not because I was satisfied. Staff were rude, and the music was so loud I couldn’t hear what anyone was saying.
I contacted Sultan Shawarma directly. They denied responsibility, claimed I had already eaten the meal before taking the photo, and refused a refund.
I’m not wasting time chasing Trading Standards or chargebacks—but I want people to know what kind of service to expect.
