5 /5 Kanthasamy Anuragan: Surabi restaurant is one and only best authentic Sri Lankan’s cousin in Milton Keynes. My favourite regular place to get food. Chef Jana is fascinated with authentic Sri Lankan food and he always delivers the best tasting food. My favorits are Kothu rotti, Lamprais and Appam Egg.
Kothu Roti is a popular Sri Lankan Street food. The flaky roti is chopped finely, stir-fried with eggs and rich spices and finished with a light curry sauce
The Lamprais recipe originates from the Dutch controlled colonial Ceylon of the 1600s. The authentic recipe was handed down from generation to generation.
Appam Egg, wafer thin, bowl-shaped pancakes made from fermented batter of rice flour & coconut milk.
