3 /5 Relle E: Visited Surrey Street Lounge — the atmosphere was nice and very quiet, which made for a relaxed visit. The staff were friendly and the food presentation was good, though the taste was just average. It’s affordable, but the space could be cleaner, and there’s no children’s menu, which was a bit of a downside for families. Overall, decent for a casual meal but with room for improvement.

1 /5 Mitali: We ordered from this restaurant based on a recommendation from family, who had previously eaten here. Unfortunately, our takeaway experience could not have been more different. We ordered four different dishes, and multiple people in our group became sick afterwards which strongly suggests a serious food safety issue, not a problem with just one item. This wasn’t isolated to a single plate; it was across them all. In hindsight, the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty should have been a warning sign, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. That turned out to be a mistake. Food poisoning is not just an inconvenience it’s a health issue, and this experience was both stressful and unacceptable. We will absolutely NOT be returning, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before dining here. Cleanliness, food handling, and basic safety standards clearly need serious attention.

3 /5 Koke: There were 20 of us here this evening and I’m surprised we were one of the few on a Friday night - not sure how the place stays in business. The service was good enough but the starters and mixed grills aren’t really good enough to go out of your way for. The mains however are fantastic. The pub itself is a little rough around the edges esp the ‘VIP’ area which literally looks like an unfinished toilet. Shame, could be much better.
