2 /5 Tee_ TheNubianXpat: I decided to try the couple platter, which cost a steep £25, but I was seriously disappointed. The container was ridiculously light, which was my first red flag. Upon opening it in the shop, I was underwhelmed by the shabby salad thrown in with the hot meats. They even packed it separately, so I had to ask for a container just to take it out—why?
The lamb chops and wings looked dry, and the rest of the platter was no better. A piece of cod, lamb and chicken kebabs, and four small wings—honestly, everything was as dry as it looked. The portion size was also pathetic for the price. I had to fork out an extra £2 for a portion of rice, which should’ve come with the platter in the first place. The food was not fresh and definitely reheated to sell( hence the dryness). The rice was heated in the microwave and put in a container right in front off me !!!!!
All in all, this was a complete waste of money and the first and last time I’ll be buying that platter. Save your cash and stick with their £2 biryani instead!
