Every dish had an authentic Thai taste, and the balance of spices was perfect. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal feel welcoming. The restaurant itself has a warm atmosphere, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food. 5 /5 Meme Z: First of all tbh they are running a promo that if you write a positive Google review then you get a free drink. But my review is genuine based on my experience. I was one to a highly rated Indian restaurant But It turned out to be a high end one and i didnt want to fork out 80p for Indian Food atm so i looked for alteratives. This restaurant is close to my Airbnb and due to the high ratings i came here. The varieties are large and pricing is great. They also have lunch special. I ordered pork noodle and a papaya salad. They are both fantastic. I think the salad is less strong in the fish sauce compared to those ones i Had in Thailand But its actually Better for non Thai people imo. But VERY HOT! The noodle reminds me of boat noodle i Had in Thai and i ordered egg noodles i like it. Its light But has great flavours. I espxially like their chili flakes quite spicy. Theres a Service charge of roughly 10% which is mandatory.

5 /5 Steve Freeman: Another absolutely incredible visit to this restaurant. The food is out of this world with the delicious flavours, the dip with the pork skewers should be bottled and sold! I am yet to visit the Whitstable restaurant, but if it’s anything like here and the Maidstone one, I will not be disappointed. The hospitality of the family that own the restaurants is so humble and heart warming. I want to visit Thailand in the future, but for now having Thai Orchid on my doorstep, is the closest next best thing.

5 /5 Elizabeth Poole: We eat a lot of Thai food and have spent time in Thailand and this restaurant has hit the nail on the head! It’s nice to go somewhere that does traditional Thai food and has a different menu to every other place. We had the stewed pork leg and crispy pork belly and it was like being back in Bangkok, the flavours in the pork leg were fantastic, everything about the dish was superb. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. We asked if chef could do a chicken pad prik king ( red curry stir fry) as it wasn’t on the menu and they were so accommodating and made it for us and it was excellent. All dishes were huge portions. We use the Maidstone and whitstable Thai orchid regularly, Maidstone is good for eat all you want and whitstable has a great menu and chefs and now we have Canterbury for real authentic Thai food! Will definitely be returning
