Harris Paul “The Hizz” I live next door to Green Posts, so every Monday I come in for steak and ale pie and a soft drink. Monday’s at work are crap and exhausting, so it’s nice to get back from work and have something cooked for me. It’s always a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and service is prompt. The steak and ale pie here is better than anywhere else, they do the large slice instead of a whole pie. So there’s more filling and less pasty, perfect. I hope they never change it and always stick to the slice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there’s never any trouble here. Plenty of TVs dotted around and various sports to watch. I love how they rearranged it and the pool table now how much more room to play, plus a couple of well illuminated dart boards to play on. It’s the perfect place for a bit of food and sports, even if you’re not having a drink.

Paul Davis Great food, very fresh, the soft shell crab and serlion massaman was devine. Its not your normal green curry, red curry type restaurant. We had 4 dishes and berry rice. Think of it like Thai tapas. Staff are so friendly, food was so good. Depending on what you order we could have had 3 dishes plus the rice.

Eshani J This is not a local restaurant but we do treat it like it’s our local. We have visited here more than 5 times. With family and without and on some occasions having to wait a little longer for food, we cannot fault the service or the food it self. The most recent visit we had just before Christmas on 22nd Dec, I am not quite sure who the chef was but each dish tasted exquisite! From starters to the main, and we ordered few on recommendation by our waitor Ramone who did not steer us wrong and his customer service with a side of a warm smile made us feel at ease and comfortable to enjoy a good meal for two (which we don’t get the pleasure of often). 2 for 1 cocktails are always a pleasantry and they also have a decent kids menu too. I honestly can’t fault this restaurant. The food is what makes customers come back and the chef is doing their thang! Cocktails: A night in Bangkok Starters: steamed chicken dumplings (wow), Korean BBQ wings & Calamari. Mains: (New) Beef pad Thai - beef was a little bit chewy which is based on cut and the length of cooking time. If a little less chewy would be perfect. (Ramone recommended) Indonesian Chicken Jawa with Nasi goreng rice. Now this dish is for the flavour and seasoning lover. Wow! Just delishes!

Guven Erdogan First of all, I am very pleased to see the staff represents the diverse population of Waltham Forest. The staff are very friendly and polite although the coffee shop was busy. I also noticed the manager or the senior member of the team was training someone and she was treating her very nicely with a smiling face. I really liked seeing this approach and the same lady prepared my espresso which was really nice. Top place with very nice atmosphere and staff!

Grateful Disgraceful Amazing find! Had lunch here two days in a row. First day I chose the watermelon, feta and quinoa salad. It was delicious. The second day I tried the vegan tacos which were sublime. I also had a cheeky rum espresso martini which was amazing. Only open during the day so make sure you visit! Excellent interior and seating outside just in front of the sea.

eleanor the service was absolutely immaculate — attentive, friendly, and incredibly quick. our food arrived almost immediately and was steaming hot and clearly freshly made. the drinks were perfectly refreshing and paired so well with the meal. the soup had a flawless balance of flavours, rich without being overpowering. the sides were just as impressive, especially the pork skewers, which were juicy, tender, and genuinely delicious. overall, an outstanding thai dining experience that i’d happily return to.
