The service throughout the evening was excellent, and every member of our team thoroughly enjoyed the food. The atmosphere you created made our celebration truly memorable, and we would not hesitate to recommend the Boars Head to our colleagues, family, and friends.

5 /5 Clare Sibley: We received a lovely warm welcome from the staff on what was a small but very special occasion. My daughter and husband were given complimentary cocktails. The staff were polite and attentive. I would recommend the steak pie, the pastry was crisp with a perfect bite, just the way I like it. All of our party enjoyed their meals and the service we received.

5 /5 Amanda Fowler: Meeting family half way and chose The Boars Head!!! Wow, what a gem. We never go out for a roast as they’re normally overpriced and not like home cooked but this was so fab. The veggie wellington came with everything the roast had and was delicious. It was well worth the hours drive. Thank you

5 /5 betty lawrence: Came here for my sons 18th birthday meal. Recieved a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our meal the staff couldnt have been more friendly and wonderful. The food was some of the best food weve had in a long time. Flavour and presentation was 5 star. The restaurant itself was warm and cosy as well as being clean and tidy. Will definitely be returning in the future to sample the rest of the menu

5 /5 Sasha Davis: Really enjoyed my visit — the food was delicious,full of flavour and properly cooked. I had the sirloin steak with fries, onion rings and gravy, and it came exactly how I like it, pink inside but not rare; slightly chewy in parts but still very tasty overall. One small improvement would be how the steak is served, as the bowl and paper lining made it difficult to cut, and a friend felt the adult cod portion was quite small compared to the kids’ size. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back, especially to try the outdoor seating when it’s warmer.
