5 /5 lexi twaddle: Absolutely love this place. Some of the negative reviews honestly feel like people just looking for something to complain about. This is a small café, not a fast-food chain… of course the prices reflect the quality, location, and experience. If you’re expecting a £2 McDonald’s coffee, this just isn’t that kind of place (and that’s a good thing).
The staff are not slow, they’re actually some of the most genuinely friendly and welcoming people I’ve met. You’re greeted with smiles, real conversation, and attention, not rushed in and out. When it’s busy, that just means people love being here. This is a small, locally run place, not a fast-food chain. If you’re looking for something in-and-out in two minutes, there are plenty of places like that elsewhere. This place is an EXPERIENCE on a whole different caliber than that.
The food and drinks are consistently great, the views are unreal, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Special shoutout to Lexie, our server…. she was amazing. Super attentive, kind, and made the whole experience even better.
If you want good food, great coffee, friendly service, and a place you actually enjoy sitting in, this café is 100% worth it. We’ll definitely be back.
