5 /5 Oliver Lethbridge: An incredible pub. Food is really excellent, the steak and ale pie & the fish and chips being standouts. Great, friendly service. The outside is perhaps a little unwelcoming (it was hard to tell it was open) but the inside was extremely charming and cosy. If I lived in the area, I’d be eating here regularly.

5 /5 Kevin Allen: Really beautiful traditional local pub, and for a Wednesday night rhe food was traditional but good quality faire. We had the pheasant and steak, and the starter bread and olives were nice.

5 /5 O James: This was a really nice pub. We went in on a Saturday night without a reservation, and they managed to find us a table and hour later which was brilliant considering how short notice it was. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. The food was really nice. I had the BBQ beef pastie, which was really good! The food was all high quality, and locally sourced. The only fault was that the coke that I had was from a plastic bottle, so was slightly flat, but they were busy. Overall I am very happy.
