Victoria Sherston We had a wonderful lunch at Ockenden Manor on Saturday. The food was extremely well prepared, the service we received from Louisa and Elisha was absolutely spot on. We finished our meal with coffee on the terrace enjoying the beautiful surroundings and view of the South Downs. The lunch was to celebrate a special event and having read some reviews, I was a little anxious. Yes, the wine is expensive, but wine is expensive in a good restaurant. The lunch menu is limited, but with two vegetarians and two meat-eaters, there was something delicious for everyone. Wholeheartedly recommend and will be back again.

Kit Kat Lovely place to face a peaceful dinner. Food was delicious and we felt very well looked after. Loved the koi fish tank. Toilets are super clean and luxurious. Would definitely do there again!

R J We had fun - food was good and brought out quickly. There were plenty of staff and the tall young man with curly hair on the front door did a great job of managing the queue. Great atmosphere although the whole place felt a bit congested with not quite enough space between the tables or room to manoeuvre by the drinks machine.

I ordered the Marinated Chicken Shish, which was served with fragrant basmati rice and a side of fresh salad. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, while the rice was full of flavor—the salad added a refreshing balance to the dish. My friend chose the Spanish Octopus & Sucuk (GF), and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The octopus was incredibly fresh and well-prepared, and my friend, who is usually quite particular about food, thoroughly enjoyed it. We started with the Mixed Hot Starters platter, which included Falafel, Grilled Halloumi, Sucuk, Deep-Fried Camembert, Sigara Borek, Crispy Prawns, and Deep-Fried Calamari. Every item was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and inviting. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining here again.

Isabelle Robbins It was a lovely birthday outing. We got given a free desert pizza for the birthday occasion. Delicious food and very tasty. Very quiet so we had a very nice experience!
