2 /5 RPL: I’ve always liked TFT and have visited since it first opened. I usually come for special occasions, mostly birthdays. Most recently, I visited on 27 January to celebrate my birthday. Over the years, I feel the food has generally improved.
On this visit, I ordered the specials for both starter and main. The starter was a veal pâté. Although it contained some veal, it seemed to be made up mostly of other meats, which was acceptable, but it was quite heavy on raisins and nuts.
For the main course, I had the duck special. Unfortunately, this was disappointing. It was simply a fried duck leg that appeared overcooked, very oily, and dry.
Based on the food alone, I would rate the overall experience 3/10.
