5 /5 Pieter Eksteen: Classic country pub with outstanding gastro-pub food. Really enjoyable experience for lunch - the three of us each had a different dish, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Helpful, friendly staff and an easy reservation made the Gamekeepers a must visit again.

5 /5 Sam D: Fantastic food. They have a specials board and are so passionate about their food. They were so good at catering to allergies, I didnt feel that anything was compromised on. The fillet was perfectly cooked and after we retired to the sofas to enjoy another pint. We will definitely be back.

5 /5 Jack Avery: We had a wonderful celebratory birthday meal at The Gamekeepers. The aesthetic inside is traditional but upmarket, yet remaining warm and inviting. The personal touch provided by the management to explain the menus was unexpected but greatly appreciated. The food was superb; it was well presented and with minimal wait times. Most importantly, it tasted exceptional. The Gamekeepers sits on the pricier side of “pub dining” (£115 for 2 people with no alcoholic drinks. 2 courses each + 1 pudding to share). However, the extra touches made by the staff definitely warrant the surcharge. Highly recommend a visit.

5 /5 Harriet Ann Sly: What a Gem! Went for a walk and stumbled across this little beauty! Staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. The food... well just delightfully delicious! We had a grouse starter which was beautiful. For mains the steak gnocchi and duck sausages both were lovely dishes. Definitely will be returning to this gorgeous restaurant and would advise if you fancy something scrumdidliumptious head over there. Also the decor is a classy mix of old wooden beams and mood lighting. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
