5 /5 Rhonda M: A quaint little cafe that serves amazing food. Outstanding that they are a not for profit that helps to end hunger in Hastings. Husband got the Avocado and Poached eggs on toast with a side of bacon. I got Avo, eggs and cheese, which are Cheesy scrambled eggs and crushed avocado on toast. It’s a good portion. Very friendly staff. We felt welcome and it is nice to support a non profit. Thank you for a nice breakfast.

5 /5 Andrew Fox: I had a Grumpy breakfast and a Flat White this morning. The scrambled eggs were amazing. Sausages first class, firm and tasty. Not cheap and deep fried like some cafes. Bacon crispy but not dried out. I would highly recommend this cafe. Its a not for profit business which makes it extra special. Thank you to everyone that works there.

5 /5 Terry Dukes-Derwent: A great cafe with a good range of vegan options. The Grumpy Veggie (cooked breakfast) is especially good, and the scrambled eggs are the best Ive ever had! The service is quick and friendly, and the general atmosphere is welcoming. Definitely a good place to try for breakfast if youre visiting Hastings.

5 /5 Rachael D: Stumbled across this during a recent camping trip, and absolutely loved the idea behind the restaurant. They help the local community and the less fortunate, there’s free breakfast for kids, very cheap breakfasts & drinks! It ended up being one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a restaurant. Would highly recommend & would definitely return!
