1 /5 Lourdes Zenteno: Disappointing experience.
We came here based on the online menu, which clearly shows several gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the menu available at the pub is completely different and not updated. There are no gluten-free markings at all on the physical menu.
When I asked the waitress about gluten-free options, she came back with only the first section of the menu marked by hand. I then asked specifically about the steak, which she initially said was not gluten-free. When I pointed out that it’s just meat, she said she would go back to check. After that, she returned with the entire menu handwritten with pen, indicating what could be gluten-free.
To make things more confusing, when I asked which sauces were available for the steak (which was finally confirmed as gluten-free), I was first given options, but then told again that actually none of the sauces were gluten-free.
The gluten-free burgers advertised online are also not available, despite being clearly listed on the website. Overall, the menu is very different from what is shown online.
On top of that, the service made us feel like we were being a nuisance for asking questions about the menu — even though these options are specified online.
This was especially disappointing because we visited some time ago and the experience was much better back then. Sadly, this time it didn’t live up to expectations.
