Andy Howard When you walk in and you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming smile from one of the owners (Claire) who seats you in a perfect spot right next to the kitchen where the co owner & Italian Chef (Val) slaves away making every meal to order using only the freshest ingredients you know you’ve found ‘your place’. Unable to choose what to eat we ask Val to keep us fed and watered and between the two we weren’t let down. We told Claire what our wine tastes were and she brought the most Devine wine! Val then made us a starter, a main and a main, and a main… AND a desert!! Wow wow wow!! (Have the crab pasta!!) Our first night at Alberto’s made us feel welcomed, wanted and part of the team! Did you know Val is also a jeweller?! Does this man’s skills have any boundries?! If only we’d come earlier we could have visited their veg shop just up the street “Plant’d” we will be back!! K&A

victoria winklhofer We had the pleasure of having lunch at the bell yesterday and it was just lovely! The food, the setting was just breathtaking! Daylesford did amazing! However the most outstanding part was our waitress Leny- she was beyond sweet, informative and had great attention to detail. I would go as far as to say she was the best waitress I ever had the pleasure meeting. Big shoutout to her- she made our day!

Tucked away in the idyllic Cotswolds just outside Chipping Norton, The Boxing Hare is the kind of gem that feels like a warm hug from an old friend. From the moment we stepped through the door of this charming stone-built inn, we knew we’d stumbled upon something special. The rustic beams, cozy ambiance, and that inviting garden peeking through the windows set the perfect scene for a family meal out The steaks are some of the best we have had in a long long time

Hannah Folloni Really lovely pub, we got parked right outside the front door which was nice as it was raining. It is very dog friendly with treats for them at the door and the offer of a water bowl should you need it. The service was great and there were very friendly staff that seemed very happy to help. The food was lovely too. Loved the decor, it was very inviting and nostalgic of how a pub should look in my opinion. All in all a very lovely place to spend a few hours. We will no doubt be back.

Barry Dodman-Edwards We have just had Christmas dinner there. 2 courses which were really tasty and excellent value for money. In fact, it would be good value in this area if it were twice the price. Joe Hancock Just had a Thai takeaway from ThaiToGo and it was honestly incredible. Super fresh, full of flavour and you can tell they really care about what they serve. Every dish was perfectly cooked and properly authentic, easily one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time. The portions were spot on, the service was friendly and everything was ready bang on time. Proper hidden gem near work. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend
