5 /5 Kevin Boyle: We arranged a repast, post funeral reception in the private upstairs dining room, and the service was excellent. From the assistance and communication prior, to the bar service, the dining experience on the day with regards to both the standard of food and service therein, I have to commend The Mount Edgcumbe.

5 /5 vikki osborne: A lovely large pub with a quirky seating area carved into the sandstone rocks. We met as a large group for drinks and were accommodated in a nice quiet area near the bar. The grounds outside are lovely and lots of places to sit. Car park is a bit small but you can park on the road and do a short walk to the pub itself

5 /5 Yvonne Edgcumbe: Beautiful location. Friendly, professional staff. We had a very large group booked for a surprise, for the recipient, 70th meal/party; with the recipient and his wife to stay overnight. The whole experience absolutely wonderful, made particularly wonderful by the professional secrecy upheld until the very last moment by the owner and staff. They were all so amazing and all the family had just the best time, with very good food ... everyones choice of food cooked to perfection. The room was nice, and certainly not a major let down; but just nothing overly welcoming i.e. more regular teabags and better supply of milk pods - just the little things, but overall we just couldnt have gone anywhere better due to the brilliant staff from owner to a new member of staff. Just everyone.

5 /5 Sir Rothschild: Restaurant review - Been here once before for a drink but this time visited for a meal. It was a great experience. The waitress was attentive and the food was was delicious. The waiting time wasnt long at all. The menu was appealing and something for everyone.

5 /5 Nelly Ley: The restaurant is highly recommended, and the small cave room is amazing. Google Maps doesn’t list this place as a restaurant, but the locals know it well. It’s highly recommended for those who are looking for a dining-only experience.
