5 /5 Paul H: Ive been a happy, regular visitor to the Nest for several years now. Im always assured of a warm welcome from Amanda and the team but the main reason I come back is the excellent food and wine choices. Im a big fan of the Nests specials board which updates frequently and almost always includes very tasty and varied fish dishes. If you are a pizza fan, I can also highly recommend the inhouse sourdough pizzas, my personal favourite at the moment is the prosciutto and pesto. And Im also happy to give a thumbs up to the delicious home made desserts, with the Apple & Pear Eves Pudding being my current favourite. I always enjoy the relaxing ambience of the restaurant and the staff and service is top notch. Already looking forward to my next Nest visit!

1 /5 Matt B: If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay somewhere that treats basic hygiene as an optional extra, this is the place for you. The room clearly hadn’t made the acquaintance of a cleaning product in quite some time. Dust and grime added a certain “lived-in” authenticity. The hosts? An absolute masterclass in hospitality… if the goal is to make guests feel like an inconvenience. Warmth and courtesy were evidently on back order. As for the evening entertainment, we were treated to a full-volume domestic argument next door. Front-row seats, crystal clear audio. Staff intervention? None whatsoever. Apparently conflict resolution isn’t included in the room rate. I even have a recording, just in case anyone thinks I’m exaggerating. All in all, if you’re looking for cleanliness, professionalism, or basic standards, you may want to keep scrolling. If you’re after chaos with a side of attitude, you’ve found your spot.

5 /5 jordan goff: If this isn’t up for a best local business award I’m not sure what is! Warm, kind, soulful family business who puts love into the service they provide. I have been here multiple times for quiz nights, overnight stays and Sunday lunches and it never ceases to amaze me the standards set each time. I’m saddened to see a couple of the reviews as I feel this doesnt do this family business justice and wonder if due to its popularity you can’t always keep everybody happy. Look forward to seeing you all next time.
