4 /5 Carr’s Cork n’ Fork: I had a very enjoyable meal at Olive House Turkish Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and the service attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant has a lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great place for a relaxed evening out.
The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and the quality of the ingredients really showed. The grilled meats were tender, flavourful, and cooked perfectly, while the meze dishes were vibrant and generous. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in producing authentic Turkish cuisine.
The only slight drawback was the position of our table, which was bear the door in the window. With people coming and going it could feel a little drafty and busy at times, which slightly detracted from what was otherwise a very comfortable dining experience.
That aside, the staff were friendly and professional, the portions were generous, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. I would certainly return and would happily recommend Olive House to anyone looking for delicious Turkish food and welcoming service.
