5 /5 Chris Diepstraten: Very cute little place in a beautiful terrace. The food is well-priced and very tasty, although don’t leave it to the last minute as they run out as the day goes on! Sitting outdoors on the quiet road in summer is idyllic.

5 /5 Julianne: Local venue in beautiful Canonbury. Relaxed setting in a period building with wooden floorboards and huge glass shopfront with a pleasant outlook. Delicious variety of toasted sandwiches and home made cakes. Very good coffee. Friendly service. Fresh breads and pastries.

5 /5 Chris Crawley: The Place is a fantastic local coffee shop with a cozy, neighborhood feel. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes sure you are completely satisfied. The coffee is outstanding, easily surpassing that of big chain stores like Starbucks. Situated on a side road off the main road, this hidden gem is a must-visit for coffee lovers. I was also impressed to see many locals and their furry companions frequenting the shop. Ill definitely be returning to The Place next time Im in the area

5 /5 Michele: The chap at the ticket desk at the Estorick Collection recommended The Place to me. What a delight. We had quiche & salad and drinks and sat there and chatted away for hours. Lovely atmosphere. Not rushed. A real local gem. The lovely staff looked after a ladies new born for hours so she could sit and drink coffee. Pretty amazing right! When we left it was raining, hard and so we paused. The lady (with the baby) asked if we needed an umbrella. I said I dont live around here. She said they keep umbrellas and this one had been there sixth months. How nice is this!
