5 /5 sophie Nolan: Oh my goodness, I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. They give the most welcoming entry upon arrival, the rooms are so beautiful and clean. As a gluten free girly, let me tell you the food was incredible and so accommodating, a full gluten free menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was recommended the scrambled eggs, and they did not disappoint. They staff were so bright and bubbly and treated us like family. They helped out whenever they could and went above and beyond to help out whenever. All other staff were so friendly which honestly made the stay here feel so homely.

5 /5 Emma Nolan: Wow!! I absolutely loved this place! We stayed for two nights here and had a blast! I loved the food, there is nothing to fault! And of course the hospitality was 5 stars! Particularly a girl called Zoe, who was so accommodating, she was super friendly and would bend over backwards to help us out with anything!

2 /5 Angie Gomez: We booked a table for five people at The Richard Onslow to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. At the beginning, everything seemed fine, we were seated and able to order drinks and starters without any issues. However, after that, it felt as though we were completely forgotten. We had to call someone over to clear the starter plates and to take our main course order, and again later to clear our plates once we had finished eating. When we wanted dessert, we had to ask for a menu, but after receiving it, no one came back to take our order. In the end, after waiting for quite some time, my husband had to go up to the bar to pay the bill because no one was coming to our table. It was disappointing, especially as we were there to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. The lack of attentiveness really let the experience down.

5 /5 Richard Hill: We had a table for eight people on Saturday night. We chose various main courses. Each dish was amazing and everyone said how much they enjoyed their meal. The service was fantastic and everyone had a brilliant night. Thank you. We are very fortunate to have this great pub in our village

4 /5 Danielle Wasley: Stayed in the family room at The Richard Onslow, which is tucked away around the back and nicely away from any noise. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, which made a great first impression. Unfortunately, one of the radiators didn’t work, so the room was quite cold. The front door seal also wasn’t great, which added to the chill. The TV remote could also do with a proper clean (it looked like it had something sticky on it). Overall, it was a pleasant stay with friendly staff, but a few maintenance and cleanliness issues let the room down slightly.
