5 /5 yuliyu 777: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at The Taru Restaurant & Lounge. The atmosphere is cosy and elegant, the food is high quality and beautifully presented. We especially loved the beef with creamy mashed potatoes and the seafood selection with prawns, calamari and fish fillet — everything was fresh and full of flavour. The shisha was excellent as well. A lovely place to relax and enjoy a great evening. Highly recommended!

4 /5 Holaitsbasit: A quiet escape from the city led me to Essex’s first speakeasy Taru I went to try their steak but ended up wrapped in the comfort of their Sunday roast instead. Loved the scallops salad… but the cheesecake stole the show. European fine dining, good drinks, DJ nights, shisha, a secret lounge, and live entertainment on Fridays & Saturdays.

Staff also gave lovely complimentary soup for opening our fast while we waited for the wellington to bake Service and every dish was fantastic Excited to have such a wonderful establishment on our doorstep and ample parking spaces too

5 /5 Chris Smith: Sensational new restaurant. Every course we had was absolutely delicious and left me craving the food again for days afterwards. Highly recommend the scallops, a new and interesting take with a lot of detail put into the presentation. Probably the best spicy margaritas I’ve ever had as well - I will be returning for more most certainly. Really glad this has opened up in the neighbourhood.

Rosalia Me and my husband have been looking for an Italian restaurant for so long near us after our usual one closed down last year and I’m so happy to have found this place! Absolutely love that the staff are authentic Italian and being Italian myself you know the food is gonna be good and it didn’t disappoint! We got starters, main and desert and each course was absolutely to die for! For starters, we got the king prawns and the truffle fries Means I got a margarita pizza and my husband got the steak For dessert, of course, we got espresso, but we also got the affogato & chocolate cake Everything was cooked to perfection and had so much flavour This is definitely one of the most authentic pizzas I’ve had and taste just like home in Italy and that’s really hard to find in London. I think we found our place and will definitely be back again and be regulars! Thank you as well to the amazing staff and amazing chefs for making us feel so comfortable and for their amazing food
