5 /5 Emma Maloney: We had our wedding at Victoria Stakes and they absolutely smashed the day!! We hired out the whole pub as we wanted a real pub feel. The staff went above and beyond to help us create the day we wanted. The food was amazing all our guests commented on the steak. The bar staff were amazing and could handle the amount of baby Guinnesss that were ordered on the night and thats no mean feat! If youre planning a pub wedding wed highly recommend Victoria Stakes. 5 /5 Mireille Bonello: We had dinner here on Friday. The food is way above any pub we’ve eaten at in the area. The Chef is from the Gravroche and it really shows! Absolutely DELICIOUS food. Every plate has a home made wow factor. Cannot wait to try the Sunday roast. Thanks team for a fantastic evening, wonderful atmosphere and service.

2 /5 Shane Murphy: First things first - the barman/manager here is charming and friendly. He’s worth visiting for. The same can’t be said for the chef. I called in for a light lunch - scallops & sprouts. I didn’t really get an opportunity to rate the food because the chef said that he was “too busy” to provide the bread I ordered. (Max 9 people in the place at the time). So I waited for it. It came over 20 minutes later. My food was cold and who wants to eat cold scallops or sprouts? So I said I didn’t want the cold food and wanted my money back. The charming manager did not quibble and refunded my money immediately. I told him I’ll come back for the bar but for food only after that dreadful chef is gone.
