Bridgewood Manor Restaurant - Kent

Rating: 2.1 /5
Olly P We were staying in the hotel for a couple of nights and decided to try the restaurant for dinner. After looking at reviews online I was a bit dubious but honestly the food was really nice. We had steak and a salmon dish (would of been trout but they had run out). Steak was cooked pretty much perfect and wasn’t chewy. Prices were reasonable. The only downside was the actual service that was initially slow, having sat down for a while and not even offered a menu but that was rescued by someone in the end and she was very pleasant and attentive. I wanted to write a more positive review as previous reviews haven’t been good for this place and I think as far as food quality things have improved.

Bram van Dijk Great service, delicious menu options, and clean interior. The dessert surprised me with its delicate taste. Everything felt well-coordinated, making the visit comfortable and enjoyable.

Joanna Thorpe A great takeaway! Great portions and always arrives hot. We also really appreciate how they read the salad choices and always get it 100% right! Thank you for the free chicken wings!

Sushi Daily Chatham - Kent

Maia Mason-Syme This sushi is so nice! It tastes so fresh and is much better than other sushi Ive had before. The selection is far bigger than most places and they have noodles, mochi and even sandwiches as well. The shrimp gyoza and sashimi including yellow tail, tuna and salmon are my favourites as well as the chocolate mochi! The price is so good for what you get as quality is amazing and its all fresh every single day!

Will de Bolla Felt like a bit of a hidden gem at the price point - slightly hidden away location, although still easy to get to and plenty of parking ok site. We had a very large group but didnt need to preorder, and the food was served swiftly to the whole group so no waiting for ages with food getting cold while waiting for everyone to be served. Pub is split into two parts - am olde-worlde bar with a fire, and a more modern dining room. Slightly odd together but fine. Had a swing outside for the kids to play on, which entertained them for a while. Food was good solid pub grub. Overall, its not a high class place but good food, good service in a typical country pub setting for a good price.
