Rie Great restaurant in the middle of Windsor, I really felt I was back in a good french restaurant. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, tables, linens, wares, all perfect! A lady at another table had a birthday and we all who were dining sang a happy birthday song for her, it was very memorable and lovely. Thank you for the great food and a memorable evening, we will be back again!! It is a popular restaurant, please remember to make a reservation!

1705 Restaurant & Bar - Berkshire

Rating: 3.3 /5
Natalia Rogowska With an upcoming stay at De Vere Beaumont Estate I got really stressed by the Google reviews of 1705 - I need to remember that more negative than positive reviews get posted online! The atmosphere was lovely and calm, the service was brilliant and the food was great. We shared a Camembert to start, which was creamy and lovely with a variety of breads. Our mains were great and I’d highly recommend the Tuffolo Gavi wine. The staff were very friendly and we honestly do not have a single bad comment about the experience. I thought it was important to post this review, which I wouldn’t normally do, so others feel reassured to not always trust everything they see online!

Anna Li Volsi Absolutely outstanding, this place is a true gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between warm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish. It’s the kind of space where you immediately feel comfortable, whether you’re here for a casual meal or a special occasion. The staff deserve special praise. Every visit, they have been attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring, without ever feeling intrusive. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and that energy makes a huge difference in the overall experience. And the food simply exceptional. Every dish is beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and bursting with flavor. The consistency is what truly stands out: this is my fourth time coming back, and each visit has been just as impressive as the last. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers at such a high level every single time. This is the kind of place you recommend without hesitation and keep returning to again and again. I’ll definitely be back and many more times to come. Keep up the amazing work!

Larry Venter We popped into Ichiban on a Wednesday evening without too much expectation. The reviews are all about right - good food, decent service and as the pace filled up the atmosphere was good too. They were very accommodating of gluten free requests too. No complaints here - I’d visit again.

C&O Turkish Restaurant - Berkshire

Rating: 4.9 /5
Rehan Siddiqui On Friday 23rd January, we went for dinner at C&O Turkish Restaurant just off Peascod Street in Windsor. I had already called ahead to ensure all of the meat served was halal including the steaks! It was fairly quiet around 8:30pm, with only a couple of tables occupied, but we were attended to immediately. Drinks and starters were taken straight away and we opted for a simple hummus to begin. For mains, I had a beautiful lamb kleftiko – a lamb shank served with vegetables and mashed potato in a herby tomato sauce – and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve had. My wife chose the lamb adana kebab, and my daughter had the chicken wings. Everyone agreed the food was really good and clearly cooked with care. You could tell the team were making a real effort with service. The only slight distraction was a customer at the table in front repeatedly complaining about chewing gum under her table – one of those things better handled discreetly (by the customer), as not everyone needs to hear it. We had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner, Jihan, who came over to chat with us. When I asked for mint sauce with my lamb shank, Jihan actually sent someone to a local shop to get some – that, for me, is outstanding customer service. To finish, my wife and daughter were offered complimentary Turkish tea and a fruit tea, which was a really nice touch. This is a wonderful addition to the two other Turkish restaurants already in Windsor, but I’d say the food here was better – which means we’ll definitely be back.
