5 /5 Selena: We were met by a very happy Adrian who showed us to our table and was our waiter for the evening. He was exceptionally attentive, great fun and had some excellent recommendations for wine and desserts! The food was delicious, well prepared and the portion sizes were generous. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

5 /5 Süleyman Metin: We ordered garlic bread, mini mac & cheese, spicy fried chicken tenders and rosemary sea salt fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food arrived hot, fresh and very well presented. The chicken was crispy and full of flavour, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the mac & cheese was creamy and comforting. The drinks were also great. The atmosphere by the lake is beautiful and very relaxing, and the staff were friendly and professional. The online ordering and service system was super easy and smooth to use. A fantastic place to enjoy good food with family or friends — we will definitely come back again.

5 /5 Laura Corbin: We had a family lunch today including a baby. From welcome to leaving the service was fantastic! Thanks joey and Adrian you made us so welcome and even helped my son out with the date for Mother’s Day (thanks!! Let’s see if he remembers) the baby was welcomed and we made it through a meal out wahooo! Food was lovely we had a range of starters and mains. Service was quick, the location is beautiful and we were even treated to a water skier which kept everyone entertained. We’ve been a few times as regular visitors to herons down the lane so we will be back hopefully Adrian and joey will be there too as they really made it special

4 /5 Michelle G.: We were greeted by a friendly member of staff and in fact, every staff member we dealt with during our stay was fantastic. Our room was gorgeous, so cosy and the bed....the most comfortable bed we have slept on! Footsteps and furniture being moved could be heard above our room but this died down later in the evening so didnt disturb our sleep. Whilst we had booked a room only, I did think that maybe we would be able to buy breakfast as I had seen a breakfast menu. Our fault for not checking food service times but we found out that breakfast is only available at the weekend. We totally understand why but felt like it might be worth making it a bit clearer at the time of booking. We ended up leaving a bit earlier in the morning in search of a breakfast! It would have been lovely if there was maybe an option of purchasing a breakfast hamper that contained items such as juice, pastries, fruit etc that could be given the evening before when there are staff around? It would mean that your midweek guests still get the little luxury of having a lazy breakfast in their room.....one of the treats of staying away from home! Overall though....our experience at The Wiremill was lovely. Its a little gem of a place.
