Caiti Hurst Great local restaurant. Tasty food, good portion sizes, quick and friendly service. Been twice in the last few weeks and have been impressed both times. New management revamping the place and we hope more locals will give this a chance and support local businesses.

Ted0194 Absolutely amazing spot for dinner. We opted for the ‘menu of the day’ which had three courses (two options for each course, including a vegetarian option) and it was only £14 each which was amazing value. To top off the excellent price, the food was amazing. Well seasoned, nicely presented, and very tasty. Whilst the restaurant was fairly busy the service was also excellent. There is an a la carte menu too, with a wide variety of options (we tried the Spanish ham alongside our starters and it was delicious). Well worth a visit!

Matthew Smith What an amazing find! I will definitely come back here again. The food and service was outstanding. Great experience from start to finish. JC the waiter was superior. He knows how to look after his customers. Really felt welcomed and appreciated here. The menu is diverse and the food was very tasty and good value for money. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Amazon Rainforest Pleasant cosy Nandos. Good transport links re busses. Can get quite busy. My colleague encountered a long queue at the counter when she went to order, however alternatives for inhouse restaurant ordering. Good customer services.

Afternoon Tea at Corinthia London - Westminster

Rating: 4.5 /5
Laura Dennis I had a wonderful first afternoon tea at the Corinthia after wanting to visit for many years. As soon as we walked in the staff were very friendly and this continued throughout our visit. The service was more informal than I have experienced at similar London afternoon teas which I actually prefer as it felt more personable. The afternoon tea is served in the Crystal Moon Lounge which was a smaller room than I expected but still offers a luxury and intimate feel about it. I felt the staff were incredibly accommodating to dietary requirements; being pregnant there were two sandwiches I couldn’t eat but was provided with alternatives which wasn’t expected but of course appreciated! The egg mayonnaise was definitely the stand-out for me, the other sandwiches were good but if I’m being honest I dont feel they had that wow factor or were justified, I personally feel for £85 per person cucumber and cream cheese shouldn’t be offered! I had the decaf English breakfast tea which had a gorgeous subtle caramel taste. I then moved on to a white peach and mango tea, recommended by our waiter, and I could have drank three more teapots of it! I loved how the scones were served; they were warm, fluffy and served with Cornish clotted cream and both strawberry and apricot jams, although both plain. The sweets trolley came last, the milk chocolate and pecan gateau was absolutely divine and the peach and cream eclair was the perfect light palette cleanser. Overall I really did enjoy this afternoon tea and pleased that I finally got to experience it, but I do feel the savouries could have been better.

Dominika Michno Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in London so far! Huge thanks to Lyesse and Sushma for helping me with a large order for over 25 people today. A special thank you to Lyesse for going the extra mile and helping me carry the food. I’ll definitely be back!
