2 /5 Sam P: This was my third visit, and unfortunately my opinion of the food has completely changed from what was once very high. On my first visit, I tried the vada pav, which was so good that I ordered it again on two separate occasions. Each time it was perfect - easily the best I’ve tasted in Harrow.
However, on my most recent visit, my experience with the lamb kathi roll was shocking. The sheekh kebab was not soft as you would expect. Instead, it had an unpleasant, gritty crunch. For the price they charge, this is a massive disservice to themselves. Cutting corners by using cheap quality meat is unacceptable. I understand that businesses need to make a margin, but if more customers experience what I did, they simply won’t return. I certainly won’t.
While the vada pav remains one of the best I’ve had, the poor quality of the meat left me feeling cheated, especially being charged £5.95 for something that was barely edible. I did raise this with a staff member, who said she would inform the owner, and that was the end of it.
That said, the staff have always been polite on every visit. Unfortunately, due to the decline in food quality, I won’t be recommending this place anymore.
