5 /5 Victor Epin: The spot is amazing along the canal on a sunny day (only outdoor seating). One of the best breakfasts/brunches in Islington. Food is amazing and freshly prepared. The dahl is really delicious and the cheese toast is incredible. Service is very friendly and nice. Go early to secure a table!!

5 /5 E.R Stewart: We popped in for a nibble and splash of wine, ended up with half the menu and 3 wines later very happy with ourselves and our perch cannel side. Wonderful service that came with a smile, a good few yarns were spun. Humble but confident plates, simple and creative with the element pairings. Really fun dishes. Excellent wine selection – we guzzled both of the orange wines they had. And of course the cannel, right there for the perfect backdrop. A bit of bird life squawking away and if youre lucky a cannel boat chugging by. Immaculate vibes, divine nibbles and vino, definitely stop in.

4 /5 X M: Chill, cozy and popular spot by the canal with a unique vibe. Long queues on weekend noons (30+ mins in the sun). Food isn’t refined but creative — especially the cold plates, hit the summer mood perfectly. Iced latte was tiny and underwhelming, though. Would recommend getting drinks elsewhere.

4 /5 Raheel Shaharyar: Beautiful location along the canal with seating both in the sun and shade. Went for breakfast and had a delicious tomato pesto toast. My dining companion had some very delicious looking sage eggs. I wish there were some more protein options for breakfast for those that might not be able to eat eggs but still want a savory protein option. The blood orange juice was just so good and coffee was too. A lovely place to spend time chatting and eating.
