3 /5 Banks Cameron (Cam): We were really excited to try this place. Walked into a beautifully presented restaurant, greeted at the door and shown to our table. To start, we had the devilled prawns, egg hoppers with Seenie and Pol Sambol and it tasted excellent! The mains unfortunately let it down a fair bit. Being Sri Lankan myself, I was extremely excited to try a taste of Sri Lanka, but unfortunately the mains just didnt deliver that. We all agreed that something was missing in the flavour. The 4 curries we tried, all tasted very similar and slightly bland. The Eggplant Moju was ridiculous as it was way too sweet, which is not authentic at all. Saffron rice and string hoppers tasted good, would recommend them. Excellent choice of drinks and cocktails, all of the waiters were extremely personable and charming. I really hope this place does well as it is a great way to experience a small piece of South Indian/Sri Lankan cuisine. It just needs some work on the recipes of the curries that we tried. Will definitely be back to try more.

5 /5 Ahmed Siddique: Finally, Ashford has an amazing Indian restaurant called Tumeric Twist. The Sri-Lankan influenced dining was exceptional. The portion, taste and dishes was just perfect. We had an amazing evening celebrating my birthday the atmosphere and interior was modern/cosy. The service from the staff especially Olly was most appreciated and the attention to customer satisfaction was spot on. The owner Gayaan personally wished me and came out to say goodbye. Can’t wait to visit again.

5 /5 Aswini Prabhakar: We went to this new Srilankan/Indian restaurant in Ashford situated in Repton park. We found plenty of parking nearby, beautiful ambience, friendly staff and delicious menu custom made to your palate and spice levels. We loved the Butter chicken, beef ulathiyadhu with the softest homemade Porotta in Ashford. The Hyderabadi chicken kurma is greatly loved by kids. The Wattalappam had the perfect balance of coconut milk, jaggery and a hint of ginger. Will try the highly recommended Srilankan biriyani and veg thaal next time.
