5 /5 RA: I usually go there with my family, good service, clean and fresh meal, and most importantly cheaper than other big Afghan resturants. We travel all the way from Richmond to Southhall just to eat there. I highly recommend it to families.

5 /5 JS AR: Amazingly fresh and delicious food — truly Good Mood Food! The only challenge is that the place is a bit hidden. I’d love to see the owners advertise more so everyone can discover it. I happened to spot a small sign while walking by, decided to step inside, and left completely satisfied. I haven’t felt this happy after a meal in a long time!

1 /5 Esmatullah Abdulrahimzai: I visited Watan Bakery in Southall today while I was hungry and ordered chapli kebab. It came with only one naan, which was not enough. I asked for another naan and they said okay, but then they ignored me. I left without finishing the kebab. Unfortunately, the service was poor and not professional.

From mouthwatering Afghan dumplings and ashrak to rich Afghan kebabs and other traditional dishes, every item we tried was packed with flavor. The highlight of the visit was meeting Uncle Abdul Baseer—such a generous and welcoming host! He even surprised us with free yogurt on the side, adding an authentic touch to the meal. My uncle joined me as a guest, and he was as thrilled as I was, even saying he could go back for more. With its cozy atmosphere and ample space, this bakery is perfect whether you’re dining solo, with family, or with friends. Truly one of the best Afghan bakery spots in town. Huge thanks to Uncle Abdul Baseer for making it memorable! Highly recommended to anyone looking to dive into Afghan cuisine.
