Banana Tree Greenwich -
Eshani J This is not a local restaurant but we do treat it like it’s our local. We have visited here more than 5 times. With family and without and on some occasions having to wait a little longer for food, we cannot fault the service or the food it self. The most recent visit we had just before Christmas on 22nd Dec, I am not quite sure who the chef was but each dish tasted exquisite! From starters to the main, and we ordered few on recommendation by our waitor Ramone who did not steer us wrong and his customer service with a side of a warm smile made us feel at ease and comfortable to enjoy a good meal for two (which we don’t get the pleasure of often). 2 for 1 cocktails are always a pleasantry and they also have a decent kids menu too.
I honestly can’t fault this restaurant. The food is what makes customers come back and the chef is doing their thang!
Cocktails: A night in Bangkok
Starters: steamed chicken dumplings (wow), Korean BBQ wings & Calamari.
Mains: (New) Beef pad Thai - beef was a little bit chewy which is based on cut and the length of cooking time. If a little less chewy would be perfect.
(Ramone recommended) Indonesian Chicken Jawa with Nasi goreng rice. Now this dish is for the flavour and seasoning lover. Wow! Just delishes!
