Everything — from the service, food, and atmosphere to the organization and flow of the day — was absolutely faultless. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Freya, who oversaw the entire day with such professionalism and care. She was there from start to finish, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly — a true credit to the venue and an absolute star. The whole day felt like a well-oiled machine, allowing us to relax completely and simply enjoy every moment. The team at The Grantley Arms went above and beyond to make our day special, and we honestly can’t thank them enough. Every guest commented on how wonderful the food and service were, and we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding. Greta Came here for breakfast to introduce my partner to Goan street/ breakfast food. Goa is a small state in India but the flavours pack a bold punch. What makes it unique from mainstream indian food is the use of coconuts, vinegar and the Portuguese influence on the cuisine. If you are in the area, you have to try it. They have an extensive menu that covers Goan street food, thalis, indo Chinese food, seafood, pork and beef dishes. Good service and nice ambience. We had the mix bhaji puri- potatoes and white peas curry and puris that’s typically eaten as a breakfast dish… it takes me back to the little cafes in Goa, ros omelette- a popular street food which consists of an omelette drenched in a curry similar to xacuti (coconut based), chicken lollipops- deliciously crispy chicken served with a schezuan dip, and beef croquets- snack made with minced beef. We also had the chikoo milkshake because you can’t say no to seeing chikoo on the menu!

Samirah Sharif Was very surprised at how good the food was here. Very flavourful and great portions! The place isn’t the most clean, especially the outside but giving 5 stars purely because of the chefs that you can tell put a lot of effort into their dishes!

David Freeman Fantastic food cooked freshly by friendly staff. Considering it’s a beach fish and chip stall I was very impressed. Ps the local seagulls are very aggressive and attacked me on leaving the stall and took my sausage! The staff cooked me a new one free of charge! Fantastic thank you

Sonia Fletcher Great neighborhood restaurant. Best meal weve had in ages. The food was faultless. The octopus particularly good. Love the concept of sharing dishes (although not like tapas as they come one at a time) - but you dont have to have it like this. Wine is rather pricey. All of the staff were particularly friendly and accommodating. Loved seeing the kitchen at work. We will definitely be back as the season changes.
