2 /5 700 up: Ive been going here since I was a kid and Im in my my 30s now. The food has drastically decreased in quality and portion size over the years. One of the items ordered was cripsy squid rings which was very oily and the squid was thin and looked freezer burnt. Waitress was dismissive and looked like she didnt want to be there. Such a shame this place has a lot of potential to get it right.

1 /5 Joshua Jones: Worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. I ordered online via there website and I got charged a £4 service fee for collection? granted my fault that I should have looked at the total amount before paying (I only notice afterwards) I called the restaurant to see if I could get refunded / cancel my online order and I’ll pay in cash upon arrival so I wouldn’t have to pay the outrageous service charge fee. The young gentleman on the phone was very nice and apologetic however he couldn’t refund me due to the ‘manager’ not being there? he agreed to give me prawn crackers and a can of Diet Coke in exchange of the £4.50 ‘service fee’ I accepted this and just thought in the future I’ll just order on the phone and pay cash on arrival to avoid this absurd fee. First time I’ve ordered from here and the dish I ordered was terrible, I ordered the roast duck Chinese style with egg fried rice and there was actually no duck meat at all it was all bones / fat! I ended up spending £16. 80 on this 1 dish as the dish was £12.30 and the ‘service fee’ to collect myself lol was £4.50 I’ve attached images because I wouldn’t even believe it myself, there was genuinely no duck meat at all, this is my first negative review I’ve ever left and I would usually hate to bash a business however I’m so disappointed and I feel totally ripped off - NOT WORTH ORDERING FROM HERE!!!

2 /5 Sinead: Being a customer since I can remember as this is my families go-yo for Chinese because its always been flavourful and fresh with great portion sizes, however the last couple times ive order have been disappointing as the food has become flavourless and bland. I feel like they have stopped cooking with salt and they are stingy with the ingredients, my special fried rice had little to no meat or egg in it, I was basically given peas and rice, I had to add my own salt. The prawn balls was flavourless and prawn was not deveined and it was rubbery. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as they have been going through some renovations, but today has solidified my decision to find another local Chinese.

2 /5 Vesna “HK”: I have been a customer for over 25 years. Today is the last time, I cannot ignore how bad it has become. I have recently had Singapore fried vermicelli which was way too salty to eat. So bad that it was thrown away. A few weeks ago I asked for this dish & was the cashier tried to pull a fast one & charge me 50p extra if I wanted egg with it! The dish should contain egg as standard. I have noticed over the years the noodles are containing less & less vegetables & is now mostly noodles. Today I ordered noodles with bean sprouts & onion (117) I got just noodles. I also got the spring onion, ginger & chilli (126a) it was the worst I’ve ever had, huge chunks, a really lazy slap dash version that is inedible. This should be finely chopped. Needless to say I will not be coming back. It’s like gambling, you never know what to expect, quality is inconsistent.
