5 /5 Ottavia Cesari: Amazing Sunday brunch at Yashin Ocean House. Excellent service, with very kind and welcoming staff. With the brunch menu you get three starters, one main dish, dessert PLUS all you can eat sushi, sashimi, rolls and more. Everything was prime quality, especially the raw fish and sushi were the best I ever had in London. It was my partners birthday, and he was gifted a little ad hoc dessert with a bday card signed by all the staff. Will be back shortly! :)

Yashin continues to impress us with its unwavering consistency and care over the years. The chef’s skill shines through an innovative, evolving menu that balances creativity with tradition. Every course features top‑tier ingredients, prepared with precision and intention. The sea urchin was specially prepared to bring out the sweetness, the salmon belly aburi sushi deserves an “encore”, the salted crab was packed with favours that went so well with sake. Service is attentive and warm, adding a personal touch that elevates the entire experience.

This place is all about the food, unlike the top sushi places in Mayfair that are more like party places. Yashin will serve you the best quality fish and meat, have a tranquil atmosphere, and good service. This is not a Zuma or Nobu, this is a place where you go if you are looking for amazing quality sashimi, sushi, sake etc. in a quiet setting, away from the flashy Mayfair. We loved the sashimi platter, the different sushi, fatty tuna, and of course the Sea Urchins (order in advance). Rumour has it that, the Emperor of Japan dined here on his visit to the U.K.
