4 /5 Robert Davey: Very old pub with nice atmosphere. Generally clean and tidy. Not a great doing selection. It is a Greene King chain pub, so set menus, but you know what you are getting. Food was ok, could do with warming the plates though. No standard food menu on Sunday. Staff were great.

4 /5 Mal333: My meeting overrun and so I couldn’t have the drink and meal I’d planned to have in this historic pub. And so I just popped in to have a look around and can’t wait to revisit when I have more time. The atmosphere was inviting and buzzing with lots of customers. The main bar is long and narrow and reflects the narrow entrance. There a good menu and well stocked bar as you’d expect in a Greene & King. Because the pub is on Fleet St and has been around for centuries, it’s attracted many famous people over the years.

4 /5 Kristen: A Cozy, Historic Spot for Post-Dinner Drinks. We stopped by Ye Olde Cock Tavern on Fleet Street for post-dinner drinks, and it was the perfect way to wind down the evening. The pub oozes old-world charm, with its dark wood interiors, low ceilings, and traditional decor that instantly transports you to another era. It’s one of those places where you can feel the history in the walls. Even late in the evening, the atmosphere was lively but relaxed, ideal for conversation over a pint. The staff were friendly and welcoming, quick to serve and happy to recommend a few local ales. We tried a couple of their cask selections and were impressed by how well-kept they were. The drinks menu is solid, with a good mix of beers, wines, and spirits. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for something authentic and unpretentious in central London. Whether you’re popping in after dinner, escaping the bustle of the city, or just want a quiet drink in a historic setting, Ye Olde Cock Tavern delivers. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Asked about range in offer and if particular item whether Is sweet or sour - no answer being provided instead have been told I should try and no samples have been given.... Dirty table we sat on - old food residue. Receipt not provided. Seems like the old chap was miles away in very quiet environment where should be more attentive..... Not recommending - go to the old bank pub cross the road.

5 /5 MDH: Enjoyed our late lunch experience here. The pub is in the legal district in London, and it more felt like people working nearby are coming for lunch, not tourists. The pub is really old and has a history. The staff were very friendly and recommended us to try the duck and fish n chips, both were great and good portions. It was pretty quiet during the afternoon, music wasn’t too loud, neither were people :)
