1 /5 Taysir Barakat: Had a shocking experience here. The burrito was decent but that wasnt the issue. The staff were weirdly rude to me. It caught me off guard.
All i asked was, "is the chicken halal" and the indian women working the counter skoffed, said no and then gave her co worker this awkward look, as if to say "urgh this guys muslim".
I pretended to not notice and just asked about the veg options. My friend ordered the chicken burrito saying he can eat whatever, but noticed and was equally offended by their treatment. So its not just something i noticed alone.
Done a hundred reviews and been around alot of places, but this was the first time i experienced what i feel is islamophobia, at a food place.
Dont know if this is just the culture of the whole business or its just the 3 workers on shift that day.
TLDR: Staff were rude towards me and gave an awkward look at her co workers because i asked if the chicken was halal.
