5 /5 Nick Gazard: This pub has a warm vibe, especially the sense of being welcome. It started with a nice chat with the publican to decide on a drink and I spent a blissful couple of hours with a cider on a warm day. While there is exposed brick all around, don’t mistake this for a hipster place and your kids are welcome up til 8pm.

2 /5 David Williams: Kid friendly and nice service The Sunday roast was pretty middling though - the lamb was overcooked, tough, and lacked flavour, and I found the cauliflower cheese croquette to be a bit of a weird addition. Roasties were ok but not great. Overall the food was nothing special but was at a premium price

5 /5 jessica wells: Came for Sunday lunch and it was the best weve had in a while. Pork belly was beautifully cooked, enormous whole carrots and parsnips that ranged from crispy ends to satisfying tops that you can get your teeth into. Great spuds, cooked properly. Lovely, friendly local pub with families, dogs and normal people.

5 /5 Jason Black: We were here on a Sunday. Highly recommend the chicken roast. My better half had the beef roast. Both good but the chicken is a treat. Nice patio out back as well! Dog friendly, too. “How you hear about us?” Tell them: “Black sent me.”

5 /5 S Wils: We cannot fault our day at the Ladywell. The staff were amazing allowing us to pre order the day before. For a party of 12 it was absolutely on point, everything arrived hot and at the same time. Food was fantastic, service was friendly and accommodating to all of our requests. We will (and have) return. Thanks
