Michael Ns I visited The Lavery in London and just had a coffee, but even that was a delight. The café has a cozy, stylish atmosphere, and the coffee was perfectly brewed—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel relaxed and pleasant. Even with a simple coffee, the attention to detail and quality of the experience made it memorable, and I’d happily stop by again for another drink or a longer visit.

Aari Lemmik The service was outstanding—our server Maruf was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. We had Pistachio Chicken Korma, Lamb Madras, Malwa Mango Chicken and Ajwaiji Salmon Tikka. While everything was presented nicely, the flavors felt a bit flat and the dishes didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the stellar service. Flavor is key in Indian cuisine, unfortunately it was missing this time. I’d return for the great hospitality and beautiful interiors, though I really hope the chef rediscovers their joy in cooking so the meals can improve and authentic rich Indian flavours will be re-introduced. Special thanks for the excellent espresso; it was a highlight of the dinner.

Lydia Chong A fast food style Japanese sushi bar. The crunchy shusi we had is really nice, taste like in Japan. But the noodle and rice is not authentic. Also disappointed it does not have ramen. The service is very good with constant touches checking if everything is ok.

RA Great thanks to the beautiful and amazing Hebba. I will never forget how wonderful she is. Today, she treated me with exceptional kindness and truly lovely manners — she completely made my day. She helped me inside the café to find my order and even went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. Bless those who raised her, and how lucky this place is to have her. If the manager ever reads this comment: Hebba is a truly valuable addition to the café. Wes Parker Delightful. I found this jewel using Google maps after leaving the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was a little confusing at first, as it was inside the Rembrandt Hotel. To add to the confusion, the actual restaurant was closed but the bar was open. I took my chances, and ordered fish and chips from the bar. The person who took my order was extremely friendly and I waited in a very comfortable chair at a small table. When the food came out, it was piping hot and looked marvelous. Looks were not deceiving. It was delicious. Whats more, the chef came out to see if everything was okay about 10 minutes after I was served. I am from the United States and my idea of fish and chips was what they serve at Captain Ds. In many ways, this was very similar. The battery was nice and crunchy and the fries were like steak fries, not potato wedges. The English peas were very tasty as well. I rounded out the meal with sticky toffee pudding.

Katherine Guyot Had an absolutely delicious dinner here! The manager Berat was so informative of the menu and even suggested some great dishes! The prawn Caesar salad was very yummy. Bar staff excellent with great cocktail skills. Will be back!
