4 /5 Kathleen Edwards: Visited today for the first time as an early Valentine’s meal. The food was lovely and our sharer starter and drinks arrived quickly, which was a great start.
Liv and Eva were absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive and a real credit to the restaurant. Please ensure they are recognised for their service.
However, while waiting around 20 minutes for our mains, we witnessed a manager respond to a team member asking about our table’s food by shrugging and rolling her eyes. As someone who works as a Deputy General Manager in hospitality myself, I understand busy shifts and long days — but leadership behaviour sets the tone. It was uncomfortable to witness and not fair on the staff member who was simply asking a question.
The manager was polite when speaking to us directly, but after seeing that interaction I was disappointed.
I have submitted more detailed feedback separately and have asked for someone to contact me, as I do not wish for anything in return — only that this is addressed internally.
Overall, we enjoyed the food and appreciate the hard work of the floor team.
