Captains Table restaurant - (Near Hampshire, South East)

4 /5 Tangut: The two course menu seemed like a good deal, but not worth the extra money. One course is good enough. I liked my fish and chips. Excellent service, excellent location, close to train station, harbor and dock yard, the decor was quaint that you can ignore the bus stop outside. They also have a full Japanese menu. It looked pretty good from what I saw on other tables.

4 /5 Artist Sandy Alexandra T.: The dessert was a delight! The coffee tasted like was from a petrol station coffee machine! Not fresh grounded probably! The room very elegant! Even there wasnt proper linen on tables! Easy to wipe I presume. THE STAFF were very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my short visit while waiting for My couch to arrive. Greetings from London!

5 /5 Claire Douay: Had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant inside Keppels Head Hotel- we did a very mishmashed international order with both the sushi rolls and the Sunday roast, but it all sounded so good it was hard to not try a bit of everything. The food was indeed fantastic, some of the most tender roast beef Ive had in a while and really umami sushi rolls (the volcano one in particular was awesome)! I also cant not mention the decor: beautiful victorian ceilings and big windows facing the port. Would definitely come again, 10/10

5 /5 Cars & Touring: One of the best restaurant in Portsmouth. This is one of my home to home place. The kitchen has been renovated recently. The new dishes were undoubtedly successful. I opted for the chefs recommended -the duck. The presentation was a work of art with the dark cooker the to profession juicy inside and crisp outsiide. The mango reduction gave the dish an wonderful exotic twist. The bust of sweetness that complemented the rich flavour of the meat beautifully. The dish was accompaniment by some roasted sweet potato and some seasonal salad. It gave a satisfying balance and fulfillment. Definitely will go back and have more!
