Ceylon Street Restaurant - (Near Redbridge, South East)

1 /5 Ash Jahanzeb: Ordered from this place a few times via Just Eat, and I have to say that they have some tasty dishes. However, we have recently experienced hair in the food - once a short piece of hair was found in a dosa and another long strand of hair was sat on top of a chilli paneer dish (both in the same order). Then today, I thought I would give them another chance and so ordered from them again. Ordered the masala dosa and there was a teeny, tiny amount of potato filling in the dosa, which was absolutely unacceptable. Previously, their dosas had a decent amount of filling but unfortunately perhaps now they are trying to save money. I wont be ordering from here going forward despite being a regular customer in the past.

5 /5 Navaneethakrishnan Aditya (kuku): Only came here because of Veronica, one of the best cocktails I have tried and best service as well. If Veronica’s behind the bar, don’t even bother scanning the menu. Give her a rough idea of what you like and let her create something. She just gets it.

5 /5 Orin: We visited today and ordered hoppers, chicken 65, tea, and a milkshake. The customer service was amazing—Veronica was especially wonderful. She made a delicious milkshake with a beautiful presentation for my son, and he loved it which really stood out and made our visit even more enjoyable.

5 /5 Sarah: I visited the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and was thoroughly impressed. The cuisine was exquisite, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was nothing short of exceptional — seamless, attentive, and delivered with genuine warmth. Veronica is truly a force of nature; her professionalism and care elevated the entire dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, as both the food and the service were outstanding. Also wanted to applaud Shehanie For her excellent service too.

4 /5 Krish C: The start was little disappointing as the staff was quite new and were not trained. Drinks took too long to arrive but when we started having the food, it was really good. We kept ordering and not a single dosh disappointed. As the evening went of, service got better Highly recommend if you like to try Sri Lankan food.
